If you have a very specific prompt and are not flexible, it's best to contact the creator before bidding, even if it fits within their listed parameters. If you are asking for a specific kink, always ask first.
TheHumanDictionary is offering:
Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)
Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s): fan
fiction (new)
Fandom(s): The Magnus Archives/Protocol;
Minecraft Youtubers: Hermitcraft, The Life Series; Original
Work
Highest rating: T
Minimum Bid:
$5
Audience: All ages
Length/scope: Less
than 5k words
Special interests (what is this?): Aro/ace characters, Gen (no
ship) or platonic works
Characters/pairings of interest:
For the Magnus Archives/Protocol: I mostly prefer
Jon/Martin, although I am willing to write any characters from the
Magnus Archives. I am less familiar with the Magnus Protocol, so while
I am willing to write for it, I can write a better work if it sticks
to Magnus Archives.
For Minecraft Youtubers: I mainly watch Grian, MumboJumbo, and GoodTimesWithScar; I am willing to write other people on the Hermitcraft server or other Life Series participants; however, I can create a better work if it is about those three characters.
Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
I absolutely love writing hurt/comfort, and I also enjoy
found family. I am willing to work with other things though!
Unwilling to address:
General: No smut, age regression, on-screen rape,
cannibalism, or reader insert
Magnus Archives/Protocol: No Jon/Elias
Minecraft Youtubers: No romantic/sexual relationships or hurt/no comfort
Other notes:
I tend to write platonic relationships fairly
affectionately, so please let me know if you prefer friendships to be
written in a particular way (with less hugging, for example).
I like prompts to be fairly specific (Maybe 1-3 plot points?) although I'm not too worried about that, as I have an idea of what you'd enjoy. I would like at least one check-in with my bidder to make sure they like the direction I am taking the story, but I am willing to adapt to however much communication they would like; I enjoy bouncing story ideas off others.
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
