I'm able to assist in two different ways:
1. Plot development. I am great at idea generation and outline building, especially when it comes to AUs. I am happy to let you bounce ideas off of me, providing feedback on those ideas or suggesting different places you could take the story or fill in gaps.
2. Traditional post-writing grammar and structure revisions. IE, you hand me a finished draft and I look it over to find typos, revise awkward phrasing, fill in logic gaps, and other sorts of polishing. I want to help you make your fic the best version of itself, so I will try and lean in to your personal style rather than imposing my own style on your work. I provide some positive feedback as well as suggested revisions.

I have taken a few creative writing classes where critique/feedback were taught. I also have 10+ years of experience beta'ing fanfiction and original fiction novels/longfic, short stories, and poetry. I have also done proofreading and been the writing mod for multiple zines in the fandom space.

N/A - I'll beta most any pairing as long as it doesn't fall under my "Not willing to address", although I'm not a huge fan of hero/villain pairings (eg: Batman/Joker, Noctis/Ardyn). Villain/villain is fine.

I prefer fluff, romance, hurt/comfort, fantasy, sci fi, and AUs.

Unwilling to address:
Although I am willing to beta explicit works, there are some kinds which I can't work with. Torture especially is a big NO, as well as gore. Most hardcore kinks are also a NO, including BDSM, although bondage in and of itself might be okay (i.e. if your otherwise vanilla sex scene has a blindfold in it, it won't be a problem). Of course, no paedophilia, incest, or noncon. I don't really like unrelenting angst, violence, humiliation, or whump, so wouldn't be able to bring my full passion to a work which doesn't have at least a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. I also can't beta any pairing with an abusive dynamic. Being a little problematic is fine, but not outright toxicity. No pet death.

These are the only main pairings I will focus on. I don't mind including random background ships for either fandom, but I won't write any other ships with Thomas in them. I will write past/background Alby x Newt, from the time before Thomas entered the Maze, but no other ships with Newt. I can be convinced to include OCs as background characters in the Maze Runner universe (or BG3, if you have a multi-Tav party), but I'm not very interested in OC x canon Maze Runner ships.

I hate Mizora and am unable to portray her in a positive light. As far as I'm concerned, she's Wyll's abuser. I'm more neutral on Mystra because her original Forgotten Realms characterisation is quite different from her characterisation in BG3, so I could write her either way.

If you don't have a specific Tav in mind, I've got a female drow cleric for Gale and a male tiefling wizard for Wyll who I'd be happy to sub in. I do like unique and interesting Tavs, though, so feel free to come prepared with a character sheet/backstory.

I have played Baldur's Gate 1 and Seige of Dragonspear. I have not yet finished Baldur's Gate 2. I have finished Gale and Wyll's romances, but I haven't done Karlach's. I am somewhat familiar with Open Beta!Wyll thanks to YouTube. I also play Dungeons and Dragons in real life. I won't be looking up spoilers for any content I haven't experienced yet.

I have read the Maze Runner trilogy and watched all three movies. I don't plan to read the remaining books. I WILL go wiki spelunking if need be.

Since I'm only offering something visual this year, I'm much more willing to work with characters/ships I normally don't. So for example, if you want a Minho/Newt moodboard or social media edit, even though I have not created content for them before, I will still make one. However, I'll list my favorites for each of the fandoms provided:

The Maze Runner: Favorite characters are Brenda, Teresa, Minho and Newt. Favorite ships are Brenderesa, Brinho, and Sonyarriet. I have a long history with Newtmas and can create for them easily. Star Trek: I'm mainly a Spirk and DaForge girly but I also enjoy Troi/Riker and love all the characters individually. Professional Wrestling: I admittedly know more about WWE than any rival companies but I'll happily use this as an excuse to watch TNA, AEW, NJPW or any other promotion to learn. My favorites are Naomi, Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, Motor City Machine Guns, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. I don't ship much in WWE but I do enjoy Liv/Rhea, Seth/virtually anyone he's a very shippable man, and Sheamus/Cesaro.

The edits I've made the most in the past are moodboards, social media edits (AU or otherwise), lyric edits, and crack text posts (though I could do a serious text post edit as well). I can also experiment a bit visually since I like to think I'm pretty good at Photoshop at this point in my life. If you have an idea, I'd love to hear it.

In general I avoid most Dead Dove tropes or topics, so if you think it falls under that category, I probably won't want to do it. Otherwise, I'm pretty flexible. My only big no is that for The Maze Runner, I will not do any edits that pair Teresa romantically with a man, as my headcanon of her as a lesbian is so strong I get uncomfortable doing anything else.

I do also love writing Sherlock & Mycroft sibling interactions; I would be ecstatic to write that for someone. I also love exploring polyamory, so if anyone wants something with Holmes/Lestrade/Watson or Holmes/Morstan/Watson, I am game to try!

For D&D: HAT, I tend to focus on Xenk. I do love Edgin/Xenk (or AUs with Edgin/Zia/Xenk). I also love Edgin & Holga, and Kira POV. I play D&D (and DM some), but I am much less focused on the lore than on these characters and their fun adventure.

For tokusatsu, I don't tend to villain ship, and for sentai there's a good chance I like make the team a polycule of some type. This is such a broad subfandom I'm happy to discuss desires on an individual basis.

I love using my veterinary degree to inflict injuries on characters and then treat them, or to examine the history of medicine and where characters fall in it. Alternatively, magical healing! Also if you want to make someone a werewolf, I'm your person. My most commonly used tags are grief/mourning and hurt/comfort. I am happy to try to stretch, though.

I prefer not to write incest, and prefer any noncon to focus on trauma and healing rather than being heavily eroticized.

Brilliant Minds - particularly interested in exploring the levels of neurodivergence we see in both Oliver Wolf and the other characters. (I'm also very into the meaningfulness of platonic relationships, and would be happy to look at any number of them in Brilliant Minds).

M*A*S*H - "we laugh because otherwise we cry" is such a compelling frame for a story, and MASH does it so well. Very interested in exploring that. Also headcanon Hawkeye as some flavor of queer and some flavor of Jewish, and would love to incorporate those into whatever story I tell, whether they're the main meat of it or not.

In general, most of my interest is focused on queerness and neurodivergence, and the stories that play out within those subjects for any given set of characters. (But also I love writing jokes, and I love writing dialogue, and I love writing shenanigans).
