Fanwork Details:
Beta reading: American English. I can help with SPaG, characterization, plot development, alpha reading, cheerleading, etc.

Culture picking: American-picking. More specifically, I can help with works set in Southern California if you want your fic to have more verisimilitude than the average sitcom. If you need specific info about something in the Greater Los Angeles area, I can go fact-check in person for you.

Sensitivity reading: Asexual, aromantic, and agender (/nonbinary/trans). Comfortable with smut/explicit work.

Specialist expertise: Employment in movie theaters, as a camp counselor, and in a small company office. Hobbies include theatre (tech and some acting), choir, hiking, geocaching, and extensive road tripping. I've visited 15+ US states and national parks. I play guitar, ukulele, and handbells. I'm not blind/VI, but my family raised guide dog puppies for years, so I can offer insight into that process.

Relevant experience/background:
Beta reading: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Gender Studies (and more! It was an interesting program; feel free to ask for details if you win my auction). I have beta reading experience with several different authors and a broad familiarity with many fandoms.

Sensitivity reading: I've been active in ace, aro, and trans communities in person and online for around a decade, so even if my specific flavor of those identities doesn't match up with what you're writing, chances are I've been friends with someone who does.

Specialist expertise: For the purpose of travel fic, I can offer tourist-level knowledge of the following US states: CA, AZ, AR, CO, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MO, NV, NM, NY, OH, OK, OR, WA. Countries (mostly big cities): England, France, Greece, Italy, Spain. US national parks: Carlsbad Caverns, Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Guadalupe Mountains, Joshua Tree, Mammoth Cave, North Cascades, Petrified Forest, Pinnacles, Redwood, Saguaro, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, White Sands, Yosemite.

For the purpose of pet fic, I've owned cats, dogs (including guide dogs in training), hamsters, rabbits, cockatiels, freshwater turtles, a desert tortoise, hermit crabs, and fire-bellied toads.

Currently into Winterhawk, Wangxian, and the Batfamily, but I'll read anything.

I have a particular fondness for canon divergence, magical realism, and space/science fiction AUs, but no need to stick to those.
