Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
I really like poking into the world and seeing what falls
out or examining spaces that are hinted at in the canon but otherwise
left to exist in the world and interact. The worldbuilding decisions
of a given canon are definitely of interest when I am thinking about
meta, as well as characterization decisions that go along with it. If
the canon has a particular language of expression, that can also be an
interesting platform to springboard on.
Unwilling to address:
I have no interest in stories inside the incest taboo.
I'm leery of abusive relationships uncritically portrayed as positive,
so I am unlikely to produce meta that says someone's abusive
relationship, either as a giver or a receiver, is healthy and positive
for them. (I do not consider consensual kink inherently
abusive.)
Other notes:
Hello! This is an auction for a newly-created meta work,
created by me from prompts and information gathered from you and the
available material. This work is only for the fandoms mentioned above.
There is no minimum wordcount for this meta, but I will try to give
your idea a proper treatment.
I am used to thinking about worldbuilding, characterization and motivation, but if you would like material about artistic choices, gameplay mechanics, or other non-world, non-character elements of the selected canon, I am open to it!
If you're the winning bidder, after the auction is concluded, we'll communicate over e-mail or other methods to get your ideas. Once you're satisfied with the direction, I'll get to work drafting and engaging in any necessary canon review, and then loop back to you with questions, excerpts, and eventually, ask you about any betas you want to have look over the work before final posting. This is usually a process that takes several months.
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
