Generally I want to know: what's the scene depicting -- settings, time of day, lighting, characters, action, and emotions. I'm used to working in fandom big bangs where a writer has written a story and setup, and then I pull design / the scene from that -- but that's not required for this project.

Because I have limited time, I can only do 1-2 revisions on each step of the way: basic design (characters' appearance, setting), sketch, lineart, flat colours, lighting.
