Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
i particularly enjoy songs that have duets or harmonies, so i like creating filks involving more than one character (about a ship, about two characters with parallel journeys, about a moment of conflict between two characters, etc), though that's certainly not required. I also find Disney songs and musical songs are often great at conveying particular emotions or plot points that work well for filks, though I'm happy to do (and have done) other genres of music

Unwilling to address:
I've read and enjoyed fic with these themes, but would rather not create any of the following for FTH: horror, pregnancy, medical kink, infidelity, non-con (though dub-con and CNC are okay), scat, vore, watersports, characters being given a disability they did not have canonically, characters explicit identified as neurodivergent if they weren't canonically, characters being from a culture/nationality/ethnicity that they aren't originally in canon, characters identified as trans if they weren't canonically

Other notes:
I'm offering to rewrite the lyrics of an existing song to make it fandom specific, and then performing that song to a backing track. If you already have lyrics for a filk and only need it performed, please contact me ahead of time so I can confirm that I can sing it.

If it helps, you can think of filk prompts as something like drabble prompts! We'll discuss what specifically about the fandom/ship/character you'd like made into a song (eg a specific event, a ship dynamic, how a character feels about something/someone), and also what sort of song you'd like rewritten into a filk. Ideally, have a few songs to choose from, because a song may not work well for any number of reasons (eg I can't find a good backing track, it's not in a comfortable range/style for me, etc). You could also just have a vibe (eg upbeat song) or genre (eg pop song) in mind and leave choosing the specific song to me.

I'm a native Chinese speaker, and also fairly confident with my Japanese pronunciation. For any other language (like Thai), I can only aim to try my best. I'm happy to ask permission for you from an author to pod their fic, but can't guarantee they'll say yes. You're also welcome to pick your own fic so that this won't be an issue! Please be aware that when podding a fic, I will sometimes make minor tweaks on my own (eg adding a 'he said' when something that might be clear in text is less clear in audio, correcting a typo, etc). If you have ideas for music choice and cover art I'll try my best to include them, but no guarantees
