Fanwork Details:
I’m excited to be on tap for whatever you have in mind :-) Need an extra pair of eyes for proofreading (spelling, punctuation, grammar)? I can do that! :: Feeling a bit cross with your characters or your plot bunnies? I can be a sympathetic ear as you strategize how to get them and you back in sync! :: Would it help to have a supportive pre-audience to cheer you on? Just tell me where and when! ::

Relevant experience/background:
I've been an assistant editor at a general interest magazine, a freelance proofreader for all kinds of projects, and a copy-editor for scientific manuscripts by non-English speakers.

Unwilling to address:
For BBC Sherlock: Sherlolly (not my jam) and any poly versions of Mary/Sherlock/x (not my jam). For any fandom: omegaverse, incest, pedophilia, underage. For the kind of situations that ao3 warnings are created for, let me know ahead of time and I'd be happy to discuss whether or not I can sign on.

Other notes:
My job is to, in as kind and helpful a way as possible, be in the background, supporting you in bringing your voice and vision to your fic, per your wishes :-)

Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:

Characters/pairings of interest:
For pairings, Johnlock only.

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
Preferences: I particularly enjoy writing alternative first meetings for Sherlock and John, but I find any phase of their relationship interesting! (Pre-them, them-getting-to-know-each-other, them-during-the-hiatus, them-post-hiatus, them-long-term-together, etc. -- you get the idea ;-) I don't think I'd be a good bet for writing heavy angst based on someone else's plot, but I'm open to angst on the lighter side (especially paired with fluff!), and I'm good for other tropes, such as rivals-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, mutual pining, hurt/comfort, etc., as well as ""let's play fix-it with canon!"" I'm open to AUs and any other innovations you'd like to consider, as well as giving characters who aren't often in the spotlight a chance to come out to play.

Unwilling to address:
Plot that focuses on major archive warning areas; omegaverse; pedophilia; incest; violence and gore; John or Sherlock cheating on each other; probably almost anything using BBC canon Mary (even for canon fix-its, sorry!)

Other notes:
I'm happy to: work with vague hand-waving prompts and then brainstorm with you to get to specifics; or take under my wing a specific prompt and/or plot points you'd like to see come into existence, and then report back to you with an outline and we can go from there; or, once we have a plan, not be heard of again until I've finished :-) In other words, I'm open to collaborating in whatever way sparks joy for you (and will mesh with priming my creative process :-) and then arriving at a stopping point that pleases you!
