Brit-picking, specialist expertise on knitting and UK higher education. General beta reading.

Relevant experience/background:
Brit-picking - I've lived in the north of England my entire life. I provided brit picking services for FTH2024 and happily worked with two different authors on 3 different fics and had good feedback from them.

Knitting expertise: I'm a prolific knitter who has made hundreds of projects including socks, lace shawls, and fitted jumpers. I've also written sock knitting patterns that are available on Ravelry and have been used for many projects.

UK higher education: I've worked in the sector for well over a decade.

Beta-reading: Although I'm not a grammar expert, I've written and proofread documents and meeting minutes for years and have a lot of experience at gently pointing out typos and slightly clunky wording! As mentioned above, I did beta reading and brit-picking for last year's FTH and had a great time working with some really talented authors.

Characters/pairings of interest:
I'm mostly a Johnlocker, but I will happily read pretty much any pairing.

Unwilling to address:
I am a giant wimp, so anything incredibly terrifying is not for me, but I'm fine with a bit dark or creepy. I haven't done much reading of Omegaverse stories, so if you are wanting expertise in that area, I am probably not the person you are after.

Other notes:
I'm very happy to work with the bidder in the way that works best for them. Previous beta reading I have done has been through Google docs and they just give me a heads up when the next chapter is ready to read. I'm a fast reader and I can usually get back to the writer quite quickly.
