I’m most comfortable writing AUs for this series, but I’m also game to try canon-verse or canon divergence, especially if you’re willing to help me remember canon details! Regardless of setting, I like writing about getting together, hurt/comfort, and friendship. Hallmarks of my writing include healthy and straightforward communication, an emphasis on consent, and an accidental focus on logistics. I love queer, trans, and neurodivergent headcanons and am happy to incorporate those! I'm willing to go beyond my favorite tropes and settings, but my writing will still be my writing; the hallmarks are here to stay.

Unwilling to address:
Sex; AUs with workplace romances; romantic relationships with age gaps bigger than canon; dubcon; noncon; incest between siblings or between a parent and a child; infidelity; non-canon abuse in a romantic, sexual, or familial relationship; unhappy endings/pure angst; graphic self-harm; graphic violence; horror; positive portrayals of police, slavery, or Nahuseresh; entirely negative portrayals of any of the characters I'd like to write; breaking up canon couples (I would consider writing Helen/Irene but only in a story in which Irene and Gen were never together).

Other notes:
I prefer prompts that give a basic premise and a desired ending (ex. “A college AU where Gen and Irene bicker through most of a semester of poli sci and then get together”). I tend to want more than vibes or just a pairing, but I don’t want every plot beat dictated. I am fine sharing my progress along the way and/or getting a bidder’s approval of a final draft before posting if that’s what you want. Please remember that this fic will be on the shorter side when you’re determining your prompt.
