Other notes:
It's been awhile since I did a fic exchange or anything similar (~2010, I think) but I'm really excited about this! I'm open to anything from gen to very explicit. The only things posted under my current pseud (Tumblr/AO3) are explicit fics. I have written more than what's on my AO3 but I recently split away from my old pseud to explore different types of fiction. I have been writing fanfic and participating in fandom since ~2004. I can work with any kind of prompt, but I work faster with a more specific one. I'm happy to work with the bidder as much as they would like-- up to and including passing drafts/updates/snippets along. I hope I get to write for this event!

Fanwork Details:
Beta - I can help with any element of betaing. My strengths are in cheerleading (I always leave positive comments as I beta), SPaG, sentence and paragraph flow, and plot holes. I beta for people whose first language isn't English a lot. I tend to do a detailed beta and leave a lot of thoughts and suggestions. I'm happy to beta/help with smut scenes.

Britpicking - I'm British and can personally remember the 1980s onwards (!). I can Britpick for language and/or cultural references

Relevant experience/background:
I have betaed or Britpicked scores of fics, from 1k to 150k, for first time writers through to people who've been writing for decades

Characters/pairings of interest:
For Suits Marvey should be the main pairing but other side pairings including those involving Mike and Harvey are okay. For Merlin any pairing - I especially like any pairing that includes Arthur including Merthur. For Dead Boy Detectives any pairing.

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
For Merlin I prefer fics that are not canon era, but I will work on canon era fics under 20k

Unwilling to address:
No physical or psychological torture or horror. No unhappy endings, but open or ambiguous endings are okay. Whump and heavy angst in moderation please - if that's the main theme of your fic it probably isn't for me, but some within the arc of the story is welcome. I'm open to dubcon or noncon if it fits the parameters above.

Other notes:
I can do an alpha read initially and then a beta later, if wanted. You can bid for me to beta or Britpick or both. Please bear in mind, for longer fics I'll need more time. I can usually do up to 5k in two to three days. For longer fics typically 10-20k a week, but it does vary a lot depending on people's writing. If there's a deadline and I have warning it's coming I'll do my best to meet it.
