Relevant experience/background:
I'm an American Jew, aro/ace and transgender, both ADHD and autistic, and manage chronic physical and mental health conditions like POTS and OCD. I should also add that my queerplatonic partner has severe ME/CFS, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which I have also become very familiar with.

As far as specialist expertise goes, I'm a grab bag. I've played viola for 16 years; I currently work as an archives assistant in a LGBTQ+ history library & have fairly in-depth knowledge of both archives and queer history; I previously worked in a historical medical library and study the history of science, particularly in Early Modern Europe; I also work for my state's historical society teaching middle and high school students how to do historical research projects, and know of a lot of great research resources that I would love to connect you with as a result!

Additional notes about labor offered:
I do a lot of really in-depth historical research for my own fic (for some particularly relevant examples on Ao3, check out "Go Down to the Netherworld, Plant Grapes," "Stemma Codicum," and "Future Boy") and would love to help you figure out what resources you have access to and how to go about doing solid historical research for media set in other time periods or historical AUs.

I'd like to work with my bidder closely, if possible. They can give me their idea of a story they want me to write, then we can talk about it further and plan out the details and how they'd like it to go. Prompts can be as specific as they'd want! I want to create a friendly relationship with the bidder during the creation process in order to write the best story I can for them.

I love using my veterinary degree to inflict injuries on characters and then treat them, or to examine the history of medicine and where characters fall in it. Alternatively, magical healing! I prefer not to write incest, and prefer any noncon to focus on trauma and healing rather than being heavily eroticized.

I love reflection/introspection and character studies. While open to a lot of things, I particularly enjoy reading for works suited to being read with some warmth—slice of life, found family, humor, mild hurt/big comfort, general fluff, etc. Canon settings are my favorite since I feel that I know the characters better there!

Unwilling to address:
I will not work with anything depicting underage characters in sexual situations. I also prefer not to read for works that heavily describe or focus on gore, torture, abuse, or graphic violence, and would not be comfortable with works that focus on any aspect of pregnancy. Finally, I'd prefer not to work with RPF, incest, or romantic/sexual relationships between attorneys and assistants for this auction.

Other notes:
For AA: familiar with all games including investigations, so comfortable with any section of canon (including pre- and post-)

For DA: Only familiar with games, not the novels, comics, or podcasts, but I don't mind working with spoilers for those!

For GO: TV, book, and radio canons all welcome! I think some characters read slightly differently based on the canon and will try to reflect that.

I would love to read for a piece that's mostly narration and light on dialogue, keeping in touch with a bidder to make sure we're on the same page with characters' emotions and such! It worked very well for me last year to be given a short list of fics so the bidder and I could work together to narrow down the best fit for me. I don't attempt to match accents and don't have a huge range of character voices, but I can usually keep 3-4 characters and narration fairly distinct. At my typical reading rate, 3000 words usually ends up around 20 minutes, which feels very comfortable for me to record in one or two sittings. The portfolio linked on this auction should take you straight to my existing podfics.
