Length/scope: I don't
have a set scale for this. I generally function best with
self-contained one-shots between 2k and 5kish words, so that would be
my general preference. That being said, if you end up bidding a large
sum of money (arbitrarily let's say $50+, but don't feel confined by
this exact figure), then I'm happy to chat about your vision for a
longer work :)
Special interests (what is this?): Aro/ace characters,
Canonically trans or nonbinary chars, Gen (no ship) or platonic works,
Poly ships, Rarepairs, Trans or nonbinary interpretations of canon
characters
Characters/pairings of interest:
DBDA: I'm particularly keen on Charles and Edwin as
characters, as well as Payneland as a ship. I'm open to other ideas,
but the vast majority of anything I'd write would probably need to
have them as main characters together!!
Heartstopper: I'm most interested in Charlie (and Nick obvs) and Tori
as characters, and exploring their sibling dynamic more would be
interesting to me. I also think it could be interesting to focus more
on Darcy or Isaac. But I do love nearly everyone in this canon, and
I'm also very much a fan of all the canon ships, so I'm open to pretty
much anything!
Descendants: I'm a huge fan of all of the Core Four, both as
individual characters and in ships (platonic, queerplatonic, and esp
poly romantic, or otherwise), as well as the Sea Three. Outside of the
villain kids, I do enjoy Ben a lot, and Ben/Mal. But I'm also happy to
explore outside of them!
Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
Cards on the table, DBDA is my current obsession, so that
one will probably get written the fastest!!
All fandoms: I'm a sucker for focus on trauma, especially exploring
parental trauma and abuse, and the recovery. I like a good
hurt/comfort (with the emphasis on the comfort aspect), as well as
very warm, light-hearted fluff, day-in-the-life dynamics, missing
scenes, post-canon, etc. I'm totally down to try out some rarepairs,
poly ships, queerplatonic dynamics, or anything along those lines. I
also really love raw, painful vulnerability between couples - both
playing into the H/C as previously mentioned, but even just in a more
tender way.
Additional canon-specific bits:
DBDA: Hell, both as a setting and exploring the effects of it on the
boys. Also, anything to do with Payneland interactions and the effect
it has on literally anyone/thing else in the world around them.
Heartstopper: Exploring Charlie and Tori's mental health issues,
including (and especially?) Charlie's ED and OCD. Also, Nick's mum
adopting Charlie (literally or figuratively).
Descendants: Auradon politics, Isle dynamics, de-Disney-fying some of
the more serious topics, Descendants 3 fix-its, consequences of the
Isle and getting the kids of the Isle!!! (assuming no Descendants 3
canon ending)
Unwilling to address:
Generic nos: Actual, graphic non-con (CNC may be considered)
and extreme underage, extreme violence/torture/gore/cannibalism,
HNC/general hopelessness, MCD (excluding canon-compliant MCD), body
horror, bugs.
Generic smut nos: "Messy", feet, furry, feeding. Otherwise, I'm fairly
kink-friendly, but I may not be the best person to write some, so any
request would have to be considered individually.
Generic mehs: I'm not normally a huge AU (excluding canon divergence)
or crossover writer. Additionally, if you are requesting an explicit
fic, note that I don't tend to focus much on the heavy sex side of
smut fics, but more on the dynamics and feelings. If you have a strong
desire for any of these, I'm willing to discuss the ideas
individually.
Fandom-specific nos:
DBDA: Separating Payneland (poly may be considered). Also, too much
focus on the "figuring it out" part of Payneland getting together.
Heartstopper: Separating pretty much any of the canon couples, but
this can be discussed.
Descendants: I wasn't keen on the ending of Descendants 3, so I don't
think I'd be the best person to write about it in a canon-compliant
way, but I would consider requests individually. I'm not very
interested in FOCUSING on most of the Auradon kids as characters (with
the exception of Ben and maybe Doug), but I'm happy to integrate them
otherwise. I'm also not very interested in focusing on Lonnie/Jay,
Carlos/Jane, Carlos/Jay, or Mal/Evie, but I would explore friendship
or poly with them.
Other notes:
Generic notes:
I would love for you to be as specific as possible with your prompt -
there's no such thing as TMI as far as I'm concerned. That being said,
if you only have a vague idea and want me to run with it, I'm totally
happy to do so! Just note that my brain can be all over the place, and
I want to make sure you're okay with it.
I'm also happy for you to have as much or little input as you want.
Once I've finished, I would be completely fine with sending it to you
and having you provide feedback if you want elements to be redone or
refined, and I'm equally fine with just publishing it and calling it a
day. We can chat and work out the details of whatever you prefer :)
Fandom-specific:
DBDA: I have not read the comics, and I'm not familiar with DC or
Sandman. I'm not keen on integrating characters/settings I'm
unfamiliar with, so this offering would be DBDA-focused. I intend to
watch Sandman soon, so if you're happy to wait a bit longer, I may or
may not be willing to integrate some of those characters/concepts.
Heartstopper: I have read all of the comics and accompanying books,
including Solitaire, but none of Alice's other works outside of those
involving the HS cast.
Descendants: I have seen the first three movies and read the first
book, but I would be willing to read additional books if you'd like me
to integrate elements from them. I'm not interested in watching or
integrating the fourth movie, or the fifth book that was written to
accompany it.
